These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the EasyLink Automations website at easylink-automations.com (the “Site”), the EasyLink Automations free WordPress plugin (the “Plugin”), and the EasyLink Automations Pro add-on (the “Pro Add-on”). Together, the Site, Plugin, and Pro Add-on are referred to as the “Services.”
By accessing our Site, downloading the Plugin, or purchasing the Pro Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Definitions
- “We,” “us,” “our” refers to EasyLink Automations and its owner(s).
- “You,” “your” refers to the individual or entity using our Services.
- “Plugin” refers to the free EasyLink Automations WordPress plugin available on WordPress.org.
- “Pro Add-on” refers to the paid EasyLink Automations Pro extension that adds additional triggers, actions, and authentication connectors.
- “License” refers to the right to use the Pro Add-on on a specified number of WordPress sites as determined by your purchased plan.
2. Free Plugin Usage
The EasyLink Automations Plugin is open-source software released under the GPL-2.0-or-later license. You may use, modify, and distribute the free Plugin in accordance with the terms of the GPL-2.0-or-later license. The full license text is available at https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.
The free Plugin includes 59 triggers, 18 actions, and 13 authentication connectors as described on our Site. Features may be updated, added, or removed at our discretion with new releases.
3. Pro Add-on License
3.1 License Grant
Upon purchasing the Pro Add-on, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Pro Add-on on the number of WordPress sites specified by your plan:
- Personal: 1 site
- Business: 5 sites
- Agency: Unlimited sites
3.2 License Term
Each license is valid for one year from the date of purchase. During this period, you will receive software updates and customer support. After the license expires, the Pro Add-on will continue to function on your site, but you will no longer receive updates or support unless you renew.
3.3 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Share, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Pro Add-on to third parties
- Modify the Pro Add-on and distribute it as your own product
- Use a single-site license on more than one WordPress installation
- Remove or alter any license verification mechanisms in the Pro Add-on
- Use nulled, cracked, or pirated versions of the Pro Add-on
3.4 License Verification
The Pro Add-on may periodically contact our server to verify your license status. This involves sending your site URL and license key. No other data is transmitted during this process.
4. Purchases and Payments
4.1 Pricing
All prices are listed on our Site and are subject to change. Any price change will not affect existing active licenses until renewal.
4.2 Payment
Payments are processed through [your payment processor, e.g., Stripe, PayPal, FastSpring]. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment processor’s terms of service. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.
4.3 Renewal
Licenses may be set to auto-renew depending on the payment method and plan selected. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account or by contacting us before the renewal date.
4.4 Taxes
Listed prices may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, or other taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Pro Add-on purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Pro Add-on for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting us at [your-email@example.com].
After 30 days, refunds are issued at our sole discretion. Refunds are not available for license renewals if more than 7 days have passed since the renewal charge.
6. Support
6.1 Scope
Support is available for Pro Add-on license holders with an active license. Support covers:
- Installation and activation issues
- Plugin configuration and troubleshooting
- Bug reports and technical issues
- Guidance on setting up triggers, actions, and connections
6.2 Limitations
Support does not cover:
- Customization or modification of the Plugin or Pro Add-on code
- Third-party plugin or theme conflicts (though we will make reasonable efforts to help)
- General WordPress administration, hosting, or server configuration
- Services or integrations not officially supported by EasyLink Automations
6.3 Free Plugin Support
Support for the free Plugin is provided on a best-effort basis through the WordPress.org support forum. It is not guaranteed and may be limited.
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Plugin and Pro Add-on allow you to connect your WordPress site with third-party services such as Google Sheets, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, and others.
- Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for configuring integrations, ensuring you have the right to use each third-party service, and complying with their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
- No Affiliation: We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially partnered with any third-party platform unless explicitly stated.
- Data Handling: When you configure an automation, data is sent directly from your WordPress site to the third-party service. We do not route, store, or process this data on our servers.
- Service Availability: We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party service. If a third-party API changes or becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to update the integration but cannot guarantee immediate compatibility.
8. Your Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Use the Plugin and Pro Add-on in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure that automations you create comply with data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) when processing personal data
- Obtain necessary consent from your website users before processing their data through automations
- Maintain the security of your WordPress site, including keeping the Plugin and Pro Add-on updated
- Not use the Plugin or Pro Add-on for any unlawful, abusive, or harmful purpose
9. Intellectual Property
- The EasyLink Automations name, logo, branding, website content, and documentation are our intellectual property and may not be used without our written permission.
- The free Plugin source code is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later.
- The Pro Add-on is proprietary software. While it may include GPL-licensed components, the overall Pro Add-on package, its unique features, and associated assets are our intellectual property.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all WordPress themes, plugins, or hosting environments
- Accuracy or reliability of third-party integrations
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the Plugin and Pro Add-on function correctly, but we cannot guarantee they will work flawlessly in every environment.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Services
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- Errors, bugs, or downtime in the Plugin or Pro Add-on
- Actions of third-party services connected through the Plugin
- Unauthorized access to your site or data
Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Plugin at any time by deactivating and deleting it from your WordPress site. You may cancel your Pro Add-on license at any time through your account.
12.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Redistribute, resell, or share the Pro Add-on without authorization
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes
- Engage in abusive behavior toward our support team
In the event of termination for violation, no refund will be issued.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active license holders via email.
14. Governing Law
